With Clearpay you can close your account with us at anytime, via the web login or through our App.
Just make sure your account balance is $0 before you follow the steps below.
Note: Closing your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
There are alternate options to help you manage your Clearpay account:
Deactivate your account
Selecting this option will enable you to come back and reactivate your account without having to make a new one. You’ll retain all your previous purchase and account history.
Reduce your spending limit
Selecting this option will direct you to read more about what that means here, which has a link to contact us directly to request a reduced spend limit.
Via the Clearpay website:
- Log in to your account
- Select the “account” option on the left side of the screen
- Select “Close my account” which appears at the bottom under the “Your details” heading
- Select a reason as to why you are wishing to close your account
- Select the action you would like to take (close or deactivate account) and confirm.
Via the Clearpay App:
- Log in to your account
- Select the “My Clearpay ” tab at the bottom right of your screen
- Select the “Profile details” tab
- Select “Close my account”
- Select a reason as to why you are wishing to close your account and continue.
- Select the action you would like to take (close or deactivate account) and confirm.
