Clearpay is committed to working with our community to promote responsible spending. This means Clearpay community members buying what they can afford, and paying according to our short instalment plan.
To help with this, we limit Clearpay to people who are 18 years or older and who are genuinely committed to working with us to plan, book, buy and pay responsibly.
This means all Clearpay users have their ID verified. However for most this will be done automatically when they sign-up, without requiring any further information.
For the small group of customers we can’t immediately verify through this process, we will need additional information.
You can provide this additional information at any time.
You can help verify your identity by providing us with details of your Driver’s Licence and your Passport.
If you don’t have a Driver’s Licence or Passport you can contact our customer support centre here and provide alternative forms of identity verification including your Birth Certificate or Government ID Card.
If you are one of our lovely friends from overseas, please send us a copy of your passport profile page and visa page, ID card, and proof of address via a bank statement, bill or some other government document like a tax form or rate notice.
