To make it easy for you to stick to your payment plan, Afterpay will direct debit your payment from your preferred card on the due date. We will always send you reminders before an instalment is due, so you just need to make sure that there is enough money in your account for that instalment and we will do the rest!
You also have the option to make a manual payment for an installment at any time before the due date. See how here.
If you’re wanting to pay the total owing balance on your account, or a custom amount in one transaction, click here!
What happens if a direct debit declines?
We will send you an SMS and an email letting you know that your direct debit has declined.
If a payment declines when we attempt to debit it, we'll try and collect your payment from any other cards you may have on your account.
If your payment is still outstanding, you may be charged a late fee. If you're worried that you won't be able to make a payment, get in touch so we can get you some help!
To make an overdue payment, you can log in to your App or online and make the payment yourself! If you would like to learn more about this, click here.
